The landlord and his family were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We even had the chance to play music together, which was a wonderful experience. The room itself was very clean and tidy, and we appreciated the complete range of personal living items provided, such as shampoo and alcohol cleaning products. The location of the house was excellent, with many places to eat nearby, and Costa just a short walk away. We also enjoyed the peaceful environment outside the house. we had a fantastic living experience.

One drawback was that we were not aware that we would be sharing the family bathroom, which was located through the dining room and kitchen. We had expected the bathroom to be closer to our room.

Incredibly beautiful hotel overlooking street, we had a fairly nice experience here. The atmosphere created was special. The location was marvellous within walking distance of the city centre. Local fast food option Papa John's was 10 minutes walk away. The food was excellent, brilliant.

Spacious room, never had to wait for the shared bathroom/shower, attentive and friendly host family, optional hearty breakfast. Spot on! Comfy bed, Netflix, superb full English breakfast, charming owner, nonstop tea/coffee, delicious treats with breakfast.

The staff here are really friendly and make you feel at home, and the atmosphere and hospitality are great as well.

The rooms are well-kept and come with a large TV and good heating.

Our stay at this family home near Penny Lane was absolutely fantastic! We got excellent value for our money with a spacious room, clean house, and comfortable amenities. The location was perfect, with easy access to public transport and a peaceful environment away from the city hustle. The best part was the incredibly friendly and hospitable staff, Douglas and Dani, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and even gave us a private tour around the city. Highly recommended!

The only suggestion I have to make the morning meal even better would be to provide a wider variety of options.
